Bowel movements are frequent; formed. Tiredness and aches. No nausea or cramps. Will this pass? Should I be taking Immodium AD? Not lose stools though. Restless night, couldn't sleep., toss and turning. Had Chemo on Tuesday so this is day #5.

Been a while for me since I
Been a while for me since I finished chemo in Feb but I think I remember if it was more than 3 times it could be cosidered as "Big D". Starting with day 3 was the worst for me but we are all different.

Hope you are feeling better soon.

Jean .. I am so very sorry that your are tired,
and achy. According to Vicki Sam, and a few others - this is chemo therapy. Insomina is often your best friend during chemo weeks .. did you have a neulasta shot, 24 hours after your chemo infusion?

Pillows of different shapes and size will help you get comfty on your sofa or in bed. Hydrating is sooooo very important - flushing out your system.

Please try taking advil p.m. before retiring for the evening. Hot warm herbal tea may also help.

I was consipated for 5 days, sometimes 7 to 10 .. so I had the opposite issue. I would not start taking any medication over the counter without speaking with my Onc.

Your world has been turned upside down, with those words ... 'You have breast cancer'. So if you find it difficult to sleep - please take a tablet of notebook paper and start a journal, or start a listing of questions to ask your doctor on your next visit, or if issues persist - make a call this week-end or Monday a.m.

You are important - so it's time to take care of you. I guess what I am trying to say .. is be aware of side efforts - and take them 1 at a time .. sleeping was a luxury I did not have during my chemo therapy .. which for me was every week for 18 consective weeks.

    Strength and Courage:
