Some days more than others are bad. Today has been one of them. There was a fatal car wreck this morning on the highway this morning, they were still there when I went by.

A co-workers mom in law went for a cat scan this morning, then straight to an oncologist. Cancer in her lungs, liver, bone (hip), and her brain. Emily is a mess and her daughter is having 10 ten year olds over for a sleepover for her birthday tonight.

A freind that I work with (he's in NY) daughter has to have a bone marrow transplant...she's 10. Her older brother is a match Thank God. They say it will effect her ability to have kids.

Today, just sucked.

That is terrible. I have always heard bad news comes in threes. I don't know where it came from, but I have found it to be true. I have found a lot of sayings to be true thru out my life. It is always sad to hear news like that. It just stays with you for a long time. I am sorry that you have to go thru stuff like that. Like you don't have enough to boggle your brain. John

I just hate seeing people I care about so scared. Emily's mom in law breaks my heart. She's only in her 50's. I hate cancer.

Malia (the 10 year old) with MDS scares me. Information says can turn into leukemia. I hope not for her, her grandfather died of cll and lymphoma.

Just a rough day today. Tomorrow will be better :)

Thanks for letting me vent.

Beth

I am thinking of you and sending prayers. Sometimes it's all too much. I hate all of the cancer stories but the kids? Well it just breaks my heart. Mary

Hi Beth,
I am so sorry to hear of your horrible day. I pray that today and the rest of the weekend will be easier for you. How difficult it is to hear of friends who are also suffering, when we are too. Sometimes it feels like it is all to much to handle, but then we feel a little bit better and go on. Which then helps us feel even stronger.
I know that feeling so well right now. I feel like I have been slammed with one thing after another. But all of you have helped me get to the next day and beyond. Right now, I am still taking it one day at a time, but I know that the day will come when it's more than that. Stay as well as you can, you come first...
Your in my thoughts today.

Wow, that sure was a lot to handle in one day. And you already have your own heavy burden. Hope things turned around for you this weekend. I hope you can do something nice for yourself - pamper yourself a bit. You deserve it! My prayers and good vibes are with you.
