    Welcome
Hello Big and welcome to our caregiver discussion board. I am so sorry you are having such a difficult time. My suggestion is that you contact the American Cancer Society, see what they may have to offer as far as a caregiver is concerned. How about any friends, neighbors, or someone from your church family? It will not hurt to ask! Best of luck, keep in touch.

    Other help
Have you tried Catholic Charities or Lutheran Social Services? In my town, Catholic Charities will help folks with a voucher to pay their utility bills, and Lutheran Social Services has a huge food bank. Its not cancer specific, but every little bit helps.

    There is help out there
The internet is your best resource. Why don't you try speaking with the Patient Advocacy Foundation? They can help you deal with your wife's insurance to provide some in home care. There are other charities out there that have monies to help with a situation such as yours. When my husband was first diagnosed with cancer we couldn't afford his chemo copayments. By searching the internet I found Healthwell which paid all his copayments for him for the whole time he was on chemo. Help is out there it just takes some research. With being a caregiver and working full-time I know it's hard to find time to do the research but it's so worth it once you find the help you need.
Take care and good luck to you. I'll be thinking about you and if I remember any charity that may help you I will post it for you :-)

There might be help at this site
Hi Big, I remembered where I first started getting help for my husband when he was first diagnosed with cancer. If you go to Cancer.Net and click on financial resources you will see a lot of organizations listed that help people with whatever particular need they have. They list local and national, all the organizations. One or several of these may be able to help. Good luck!!
