I thought I'd pass this along.

We are writing to let you know that a research group will be conducting a telephone interview with patients and caregivers of patients who have been formally diagnosed with ovarian cancer and are currently undergoing, just underwent or are about to start chemotherapy. The research group is offering $125 to qualified patients or caregivers who participate in the 60-minute telephone interview.

In order to see if you qualify, please click here to take a brief (approximately 15 question), pre-screening survey or paste the following link into your web browser.

https://Survey.Nexcura.com/Survey.aspx?rg=9BC45B07-0E15-4855-9971-08579EAF5927

Any one of the questions may disqualify you from participation, and you may be asked all of the questions before finding out whether you qualify to participate in the interview. All data collected (if potentially qualified) will be provided to the market research group hosting the study. If you qualify, the market research group may or may not contact you to schedule the interview and there may be additional criteria to participate. Not all patients who qualify will participate in the research. You will not be paid for taking the online screener alone-you will only be paid if you are scheduled for and complete the hour-long telephone interview.

This study is strictly for research purposes. Your individual answers will be kept confidential, and any personal information you provide will not be shared with others outside what is needed for this recruitment.

Participation in these research interviews is limited and there may be additional criteria needed to participate. If you wish to share this opportunity with others who may be eligible in your area, please have them contact NexCura toll-free at 1-877-422-3228.

    survey
I had no problem. They ask you a series of questions online to see if you qualify for the telephone interview. I answered about 5 online questions and got a response that I did not qualify. Not really sure what they are looking for. They asked when I was diagnosed, what type of cancer and how old I am.

If this is the same one I
If this is the same one I got, it's basically a survey to see if you qualify for their research into Doctor/Patient relationships. I looked into it and it seems as though they want you to digitally record your conversations with your doctor about your treatment etc.

Not something I feel comfortable asking my oncologist to do. I'd much rather she speak to me without worrying about how our conversation will be interpreted.
