Just when things were starting to go good....
Last night i kept feeling a pain and pressure in my left boob, this morning the same pain and pressure...tonight i was tryin to massage underneath it...its then i noticed that my whole left implant fell, it is not connected at the top anymore and all of it is just resting at the bottom of it....I think im going to cry...kinda freakin out alittle...what do i do, my PS office is closed. Any ideas what i can do tonight till i call them in the morning?
What will they do and how will they put it back...or do i have to go thru another surgery to fix it...

I don't know as I've not had reconstruction. Maybe a bra would keep things in place and take some of the pressure off your ribs? Just a thought.

PS--Just had a thought. Does your ps have an answering service? Would you feel comfortable in calling him/her tonight? He/she could tell you what to do to at least make you comfortable, and maybe a little peace of mind.0 -

So sorry you're having problems. I definately would call your doctor. Does he/she have an emergency number? They could probably tell you what to do to relieve the pain until you can see them.
I'm not a doctor (nor do I play one on TV) but I would think they would have to do more surgery to fix the situation. It would probably be minor though, so try not to freak. Did they not put the implant behind the breast bone?
Hope you feel better. Maybe take some Extra Strength Tylenol? Hope you feel better and get answers soon!:)

Sally they sliced my muscle longways and put the implant inside it. So i have muscle all the way around the implant. I really cant tell if the bra is helping cuz i was ordered to wear one for my 6 weeks then they said i could go topless after that if i wanted to but back to what i was getting at, I have been wearing a bra and i think thats why i didnt discover this earlier cuz it made it look like it was still in place.0 -

I couldn't believe what you posted. {{hugs}} Definitely call your ps's answering service. Someone should be on call to tell you what to do. I didn't have reconstruction so I don't have any advice. I hope tomorrow's a better day and you are able to see ps. Like you said, just when things were finally going well, this happens.

Wow JoJo I hope everything turns out ok for you. I've heard of implants "bottoming out" before, hopefully if that's the case it will be just a quick fix for you. You surely don't need any more crap to go through!

Hope you got a hold of your PS by now and have gotten some advice. I'm sure this type of thing happens and hope you will be feeling better tomorrow.

I know it must have been frightening. Maybe you already are, but I would sleep in a reclined position until you're able to see your doctor tomorrow.
I'm praying it's a quick fix.

stitches dissolved - ?? I freaked out when I read this posting, so I ran to my bathroom .. tore off my bra and checked myself out .. I know that I had many many stitches
under each breast to keep them lifted - and perky.
Having trouble getting my mind off your breasts.

My PS just called me back
My PS just called me back for the third time today...thats why i havent responded back on this yet cuz nothing has changed till now.
They asked a million questions on the phone and asked me to look for certain things...incision opening, infection, redness ect ect. Thankfully i dont see anything else but the implant its dropping sooo now i have to wait till tomorrow to see my PS. She just told me to keep my bra on and take a pain killer for the pain till they see me tomorrow.
This really sux everybody...I just dont know if lefty is going to pull back out of this...so i might be planing its buriel if it doesnt shape up and stand at attention again!0
