Haven't heard from you in a while. Just wondering how things are going. Hope things are getting better for you. John
Hey John, how's it going with you, had a couple of rough days but the two shots wednesday really helped me, I finally had a good weekend, felt really good Saturday, even had a couple of beers! hahahaha. Tonight I even had energy to go out to a much deserved dinner with my wife. Had some night sweats at the restaurant LMAO, but other then that it was nice to get out. Although, out of no where I have this growth on the inside right side of my mouth, it's not a mouth sore, worrying me a bit, I will gargle with salt water and see what happens.... Thanks for the shout out, this Wednesday is Chemo number 5!!!!! you should be at 4 right. Vinny
Glad you had a few good days. That low blood count is a real bummer. That will really drag a person down. I have really been lucky with the chemo so far though. I go for my midway scan this coming week and then the next week I go for round 4. You did call about that mouth sore right? Get that checked out. I hope its nothing, these chemo drugs can do a lot of things to us that we don't expect. Keep us posted and as always we are thinking of you. Mary asked about you this morning. We are all like mother hens when we don't see a post from one of the crowd. John
Glad to hear you are both doing well, but John's right Vinnie....call your nurse. I read on here when I was doing it to rinse your mouth with salt water 4 times a day to avoid mouth sores and I did for a while until I realized I was one of the lucky ones and didn't have that problem.
Take care guys!
Hey Beth and John, I will show my Doc this Wednesday, your so right John about the low count's, it's just one of those things, what sucks is that my red counts are also low, besides the white, to me it explains the shortness of breathe all the time. That's why they always give me two shot's. I'm getting use to it. The bone pain usually last about two to three day's. You guy's take care also! Later Vinny. Oh and John only the best with that scan!!!
Hey Vinny and John...
I'll be thinking nothing but positive thoughts for both of you this week! We want those blood counts up for you, Vinny and a healthy scan report for you, John. Toes and fingers will be crossed!....Sue:)
