I am a breast cancer patient and have a large swollen "something" in my right armpit and close to my chest wall. Going for tests tomorrow, but I just wondered if typically lymphoma is a metas cancer or primary?
Hi Lizzie,
I am a 2 time breast cancer survivor, 1992 and 2008, and also have had lymphoma twice in the last 2 1/2 years. I'm sorry to hear of your breast cancer diagnosis and hope that treatment will go well. I have never heared of lymphoma as a met of another cancer as it is definitly a primary cancer. You can get lymphoma of the breast however, and it is very very rare.
Good luck to you. If you want to talk let me know,
Leslie
