What can one say to ease the pain everyone is feeling from the recent turn of events on the board? - can only refer to one of my previous posts on 7-28 .

Love and blessings!

You are new to the board, and I am sorry you are just hearing such bad news day after day. Unfortunately that is the nature of this awful disease. The best thing you can do is to encourage everyone you know to get a colonoscopy, preferably well before age 50. Before George got colorectal cancer, to be honest, I had no clue, it jut does not get the attention and research dollars that breast cancer does and that is so unfortunate.

Stick around an soon you will again be reading about successes. Don't get discouraged regarding your mom, truly everyone reacts different to the drugs and disease.

    Take care - Tina

Ketziah.......Its the nature of the beast.....
I get by, by never really looking for major events to happen . Only small steps in progress for some one. Sure large leaps are great but for the most part here is small victories that we all celebrate for each other knowing that someone simply had a good day for a change. We rally in here, we keep each other in high hopes that all will be ok, we take one day at a time and we suffer when our friends do but we also celebrate when they do well. Its simply a place where you can come to be among friends that really, really know exactly what your going through, and it keeps us focused on the ultimate goal...Some can't stay in here, and it is very understandable, emotionally the ups and downs. But for those that do, they try and do a service to those like you and I were at one time, to lend support, to answer questions, to just be there anytime you need someone. We have some clowns in here, we need that, we also have others that are strictly business, we need that as well. Through thick and thin though, this is the ultimate safety net for me, I can come in here for any reason, and leave with resolve. I get the answers I want, and I know that whether they are good or bad, they are meant to be sentences of trust from my friends in here that know what we need and why...so we shall ever move forward, cause there is always someone around the next corner that need us, and we have to be there for them as well.......Love and Peace for you, Buzz
