I am done with rads. 5 1/2 weeks is over. I did not use any creams or lotions. Now I am done. Meaning my skin is dark under my arm and surrounding areas where I was radiated. It looks like I'm cooked to a well done but no itching or any kind of irritation. I've been on tamoxifen for about a week and I go back to the PS in 2 months so he can schedule my exchange surgery. Also, no fatigue at all these 5 1/2 weeks. I'm getting back and track with a new norm. Thanks for all of your hugs and prayers!

Thats amazing that you didn't have to have lotions or creams. Glad you made it with little to no discomfort. Congrats on a "job" well done.

Yeeeeaaaah! for me! Thanks everyone. I'm glad its over but it was actually pleasant everyday and the trip was 25 minutes to get there and I ran errands when on that side of town. And well Kathryn started it! But yes, back to hair watching...and its coming too:)

Keep me posted on hair progress. I am really curious how your hair responds to all the changes caused by chemo. KAH

    Hey KAH!
Hey, I sure will. It is really growing. It is starting to lay down and my daughter wants to constantly rub my head! LOL! But, it is coming nicely. Its been 10 weeks post chemo. Thanks as always! I will keep you posted...
