Hi everyone.I just relized that it will be a year this thurs. since my life changed forever.I am now dancing with Ned,Thank God.But it may sound silly but I am not sure if I want to do something special that day.Or just let it pass. Its of course not a happy day that I was dignosed .But at the same time it is a celabration that I got through it.What are your thoughts on this?I may take a day to myself and splurge on a little of something.Thanks.God Bless you all my sisters in pink. I haven't gotten to mine yet
I haven't gotten to mine yet Ppudin, but, when I do, my hubby said he was taking me away to the best vacation we have ever had. He is the most loving and sweetest ever!

I am so happy you are dancing with NED! We all want to cut in. Hope you don't mind. LOL

Some bc survivors I know do just let it pass, and, others like me, will be celebrating it big time as I beat bc and am cancer free now. Plus hubby wants a super duper vacation. LOL

Do what YOU want to do, not what you think you should or that others have done.

    Let us know!

    Hugs, Megan

    Cause for Celebration??? Or, not...
It is really up to you whether or not you want to celebrate your 1-year cancer free anniversary. April 28, 2010 was my one year cancer free anniversary. I was elated!!! I was visiting my daughter at the time and she gave me a charm (pink and silver loafer)designed by Anne Klein--which celebrates breast cancer survisors. Some or all of the proceeds go to further breast cancer research. My daughter also took me out to lunch and we had the best time. I sent an e-mail to all of my friends and family who "took the journey" with me and who I could not have gotten through such a difficult time without. All that said, I want to wish you a very happy anniversary and I know you will celebrate many more. God bless you!!
