I am hoping that the insurance company hurries for you! This stuff is important! GRRRRRR!!!

I too just found out today that my cancer has recurred in the lining of my lung! The shortness of breath isn't fun at all! Is your lung fluid filled? I kept coughing and coughing like a smoker ( and I don't smoke!) An ultrasound and a scan showed fluid. I had the fluid aspirated last week...there were cancer cells in the fluid. I do belive my lung filled right up again, as I am still feeling exactly the same as before they drained it. The oncologist put me on Tamoxifen. I had taken Arimidex for 5 years and responded well to it, they are hoping I will also have a positive response with Tamoxifen.Let me know how things go with you~again, hopefully the insurance company will stop dragging its heels and you will be on your way to fast acting treatment and on to Life After Cancer!

So sorry to read of your recurrence. There seems to be too many of those lately.

I hope that your insurance will let you know something very quickly.

Can you keep calling them and bugging them or not?

I am sending you prayers and hugs!

    You are Survivor
Mom sorry that you have recurrence. Ask family member to call insurance and fight for you. Two weeks is too long for simple test.
    Wishing you the best.

I am so sorry for your reoccurance, i also have had a reoccurance..but not in my lungs. It gets me so angry that you have to wait for the insurance companys approval! I had to go through the same thing, my insurance has not approved the treatment my doctor recommends, however, they did a approve a chemo drug since i was in pain and something had to be done. Have you called them, you need to get started on some type of treatment to ease your pain. Hope you find relief soon.
