Mammogram yesterday, and just heard that all is well.....thank goodness. Now I am looking forward to a "sleep deprived" Brain EEG on Friday, the 25th. What the heck is that? Have had a regular EEG, but this one is allowing four hours sleep in the 24 hours prior to the EEG, and no caffine either. Guess they want to see if my nerves will withstand 24 hours with my eyelids propped open. Will report after completed. Oh, the life of a b/c survivor. Hugs. Judy

    Hello Creampuff
What is the reason for this eeg with no sleep??? I dont think I could stay-a-wake that long lol. Let us know what happens and why?? The only reason I have ever heard for sleep deprived eeg's is for epilepsy. Good Luck. Hope you can stay awake. You dont have to drive while you are that tired I hope..

I know how you can stay awake
I just saw a huge spider on the wall by the headboard and by the time I got the flyswatter out of the kitchen it was GONE. I don't want to go to sleep tonight!

    NED and Creampuff Forever
Yea, Judy! So happy you're keeping company with NED, and will be waiting to celebrate the completion of that sleepy brain EEG and good news there. As for staying awake 20 hours without caffeine, Marcia's spider story would do it for me. Or maybe a thriller, one of those can't-wait-to-turn-the-page mystery/thrillers...

Judy - Thanks for sharing your good news. Here's a ((hug)).

How ARE you going to stay awake? I could pull "all nighters" in college, but I'm not sure I could make it these days. I do believe that someday there will no longer be a need for all these crazy tests and treatments; I believe that someday there will be a cure. xoxoxox Lynn

Thank you all for your posts. The EEG is to check on the meningioma they discovered last year while testing me for the Tardive Dyskinesia caused by Reglan. This test is to see if I am experiencing siezures (although not surfacing yet, but I am beginning to notice involuntary movement more in my hands and legs). As far as staying awake, Marcia, I think your idea is the best, except all I have to do is see one of those monster cockroaches that come out of the trees in our backyard. Sometimes they creep into the house, and I have been known to sit perfectly still for hours after spotting one, hoping that someone will come to my rescue and "dispose" of it. My husband has offered to capture a few of the creatures and release them in a closed room with me in it....no sleep for sure. Oh well, I am sure I can manage this test. Wish me luck. Hugs, Judy

So happy for your clean mammogram! That's the best news. Good luck on the sleep deprivation. Jeez. What will they think of next? I suggest you revert back to your college days and party all night to stay awake. LOL. Let us know how it goes.

I am sorry to hear about the involuntary movement from the TD. So many anti-nausea medications, and you were prescribed that one. Definitely wishing you the best on the EEG results. And a good, refreshing sleep afterwards.
