The news about a possible breast cancer vaccine is so exciting. I hope that it goes to human trials and moves quickly.

I'm excited about the news too!
Just to think about what it would mean to women everywhere gives me chills. Me too, I still have one boob left!

    Fingers crossed...

    I saw that, too
Human trials should start in 1 year, but the bad news is they said about 10 years until it would be used on the public. That's bull....

I agree, I know there are protocols etc., but
I bet a bunch of us would volunteer!

I'm excited about this too. My cancer treatment center is associated with one of the leading cancer research facilities. I'm planning to ask my onc if I might qualify for clinical trials when they start testing.

I heard that on the news
They're testing on mice and should be ready in 10 years. Why so long?

It is exciting, but, it will
It is exciting, but, it will be at least 10 years before they put it into a human trial, if even then. It is sad that they wait so long. There should be a cure NOW after all of these years, all of the money, and, all of the brilliant researchers working on it.
