    I'm sorry, I'm not
I'm sorry, I'm not completely understanding your post.

Having a bone scan is not a bad thing. Having the scan doesn't mean that the Dr.s think there is something in the bones but that they want to know IF there is to do the best treatment they can. I've had 1 already, it showed a small area along my jaw that looked like there might be something there so a biopsy was done and there was nothing 'wrong'. I have another bone scan scheduled for this Friday because I'm having some pain in an area that has artheritis in so my PA wants to be sure that it's the arthritis.

Don't worry about a bone scan - it's a tool for your Drs to use in giving the best treatment they can.

    my english
sorry Im a little out of practice on my english Im latin but u did understand me let me write reading of bone scan I know the test are given to see what medication to be given but this scared me this is my second time with cancer firts was neck had all quimios radiation thats why Im scared. Findings:: a single solitary focus in the sternum on the same side of the primary process has been shown to be 80 percent of malignant involvement. Recomendation . A CT scan with bone windows of the sternum is to be considered as well as a follow up study in 4 months.

I had a bone scan done and
I had a bone scan done and felt relieved afterwords. It doesn't hurt. They do inject you with a contrast and you come back a few hours later for the actual test. You just lay there while the machine goes over you. Good luck to you!
