Hi Everyone! Its me Sandy and I am happy to announce that this Wednesday I will be 15 weeks out from being done with radiation. I have about 70% of my taste buds back and I feel great! I am going into MD Anderson tomorrow (March 23rd) to have repeat scans, blood work and meeting with dentist. Then I go back on Wednesday for my results. I have to admit that I am scared and nervous. What I need most right now are prayers. I would really appreciate them.

Thank you so much!
Sandy

Hi Sandy,

I had neck and lymph node cancer stage 4 in June'09 and was pronounce cured February 22,2010. I give all the credit to prayers. I truly believe that God works through our doctors hands. I know exactly what you are going through. I just got my taste buds back but I still have a bit of a dry mouth. I know your scared and nervous for the final result, I was too. But I just kept believing in prayer and knowing that God had more for me in life than this. Jesus died on the cross to heal us and so it is done. Faith does heal and I am living proof to that. Do not give up. No matter what they say God has a plan for you even if you don't know what it is yet. So Sandy I will lift you up to God in my prayers. You can have a miracle too. They happen every day to those who believe. And it sounds like you believe. So get ready for your miracle and every time you pray, be sure to pray with thanksgiving for your cure in Jesus's name. Let me know.

Your partner in survivorship,
Donna

Hi Sandy,

Waiting for the results of your first scan can be a very scary time. You will be in my prayers.

Stay strong and keep smiling,
Glenna

I too believe that Faith is the greatest healers of all, Jesus knows each of us by name. I love it when I hear my doctor say I done all I can do its all in Jesus hands now.

And remember what Jesus said:
"Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?"
