Dancing with NED!!!!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that I am officially dancing with NED!! Big WHAHOOS! or WOOHOOS! or YIPPIES! or.....Geesh, shout anything your heart desires! I know so many of you prayed for me, stood by my side, sent virtual hugs and heartfelt words, and walked with me throughout all my treatment, from the day cancer and my name was in the same sentence! Just want everyone to know, no matter how little or how much you thought you were doing, every one of you helped to see me through!!! I know I couldn't have gotten this far without all of you and I am honored to call all of you my friends!! OK, I may brag just a little (or a lot!) about my BC friends and your big hearts!! Giggle....I'm going to have to prove one of these days you really do exist! LOL Thanks for being there for me.....Love you all!!

    Hooray, yipee, bravo etc. I am so, so happy that you are having your dance(s) with NED. Okay here goes. First NED walks across the floor. He is dressed in white tails and a top hat. You, my dear, are in a gold and white flowing ball gown. As he approaches you notice that he is carrying a tray with the covered dish on it. He leans down and presents you with, yes, you can hardly believe your eyes, ice cream (our favorite flavor) and cookies (thin mints I think) on the side. He waits as you slowly enjoy your special treat. Then when you are done he takes your gloved and slightly sticky hand in his and leads you to the floor. And as we all gather round you, the music begins. It is sweet and soft and as you sway gently in his arms, suddenly a change of tempo and your dress changes into a flashy red, slinky little number and his tails transform to sleek black pants and a red satin vest and there you are in a most marvelous tango. And so goes the night, dance to dance, costume to costume but always in the arms of NED. At dawn, he kisses your still sticky hand and assures you it is not good bye for NED is committed to continuing this wonderful relationship with you. As he is with all of us. So celebrate, celebrate, celebrate. WooHoo!!

    You were there for so many of us even when you were sad and hurting and scared (yes, and sleepless!) yourself. Now you can relax, celebrate, and enjoy your life. My best to you and your family always.

    I thought I heard dance music playng~ I strained my ears, but I couldn't tell who the music was playing for! And to find out, sweet sister, that it is Finally playing for you! No wonder the music is especially festive and lively; your personality is infused in the song! And that NED...husbands and sweethearts aside, isn't he just the best dancer ever???

    Let the music play and play and play...I promise you your feet will never tire out, and the song will never grow old. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! You soooo deserve it!
