I had my third out of 6 chemo treatments yesterday! Half way there !!!!!!!!!!. I have an appointment with my surgeon to discuss re-excision due to clear but close margins. I went to a second opinion clinic and they agreed that wider margins are better. My oncologist and I discussed it yesterday and he agreed that it made sense. I guess I have to get it done before starting Rads. So far I havent really had an "Bad" side effects from the chemo other than on the third day I get REALLY TIRED. My hair is really coming out. It looks like I have dots of baldness all over my head. The size of a finger tip. Looks hilarious. I think of all of you daily. You are in my prayers always. Thanks for all of your support.

Hugs and Prayers

    Halfway through chemo...
Is a milestone worth noting, Becky. I'll hope that you'll continue to experience minimal SEs. And with so many expert opinions agreeing on the value of a re-excision - best to opt for it.

Best wishes to you, as you continue to move forward.

    Kind regards, Susan
