In memory of my grandfather

He was diagnosed with cancer with the information he would live about a year. This did not discourage him and instead outlived his prognosis by over six years. He had numerous conversations with doctors, researchers and patients to gain all the information he could about the cancer. He spent hours in the library learning different treatments, therapies and theories and what the effect was on the body. Through all of this he was able to create his own therapy. He was also able to make informed decisions for himself about treatment options based on facts he had learned. All of his research, positive attitude and outlook on life of something greater than himself lead him to live with this disease for many years beyond expectancy.
