IMPLANTS - SILICONE & RADIATION

I finished 31 days of radiation on January 18. Reconstruction completed summer 2008. Right breast had recurrence - cancer on scar October 2009.

Some where after the 3rd week of radiation both reconstructed breasts feel exactly the same. They feel "heavy". Maybe "heavy" from water retention: however, I am taking a water pill (now 2 years)? Both plastic surgeon and oncology radiologist are stumped. They cannot explain why both breasts are feeling exactly the same while in radiation. Radiologist could understand if it was the radiated breast, but not both breasts. Two other ways of describing feeling is: The way you feel when you wear a bra. The way you feel when you swaddle/wrap cloth around your breasts.

I did not wear a bra during radiation nor am I wearing one now. I have been wearing camisoles and still am wearing the camisole.
