I need to lose 40 pounds, and am having such difficulty. Any new ideas out there?
I have tried WW, and other diets. Right now, I was just diagnosed with sleep apnea, my thyroid is enlarged and the opening in my throat is narrowing. Thanks.

    Lizzie,

Have you tried a exercise routine that would be "do-able" for you, exercise is the best thing to lose weight and might help with your sleep issues. Have you asked you doctor about your thyroid, that could be causing a issue with your weight. Eating a "healtier" diet helps too, but exercise would be your best bet. Try to find something you feel you could do on a regular basis, make it your routine each day if possible. I'm no dr. but exercise has helped me out immensly throught this entire process so far. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks, and I think if I concentrate more on exercise, just maybe some weight will drop off.
I have asked Santa for a bicycle! :) I used to love riding, so maybe I can do so carefully.
I can't get into an endocrinologist until Feb., so that too, may help since it is out of whack. Thanks!!
