relief for colposcopy?

I have had 2 colposcopies and have to have another on Wednesday because of abnormal paps. What do you do to keep them from hurting so bad? I have tried extra strength Tylenol but it doesn't help. (or it helps and could be SO much worse)

    If you are having that much discomfort why not ask your doc for something a bit stronger? Just a little something to get you over the hump. I'm sorry I don't have any other suggestions as I never experienced discomfort during this procedure. I hope things go smoothly for you and the results are better than your envisioning.
