Post radical nephrectomy (keyhole) complications

Hi everyone.

I'm 25 years old and had my left kidney removed a year ago as a result of being diagnosed with a Wilms tumor.

Since then I have had some symptoms occur which I believe are related to the surgery and was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience...

My left kidney was removed and shortly after my left foot became dry, cracked and hot in comparison to my right foot. This hasn't resolved and looks to be permenant.

After speaking to surgeons/osteopath the likely conclusion is that a Sympathectomy has occured. This is some type of damage to the sympathetic nerve which causes an inbalance of blood flow.

I also had a highly elevated heartbeat for several hours after the operation and a Sympathectomy has been linked to abnormal heart rate.

Does anyone know anything about this? Can it be diagnosed and confirmed? Can it be fixed?
