    Me, too! That Chen! I want to put her on my holiday card list, too, but I am too lazy to send them out. Isn't that horrible? Someday I will get it together and then Chen will be first on my hit list, so watch out.

    OH Mimi, I thought I was the
    OH Mimi, I thought I was the only that made a holiday list and then didn't do anything with it. Many, many years ago, I got ambitious and did cards, wrote little notes with each, stamped them and put them in my big oversized purse to take to the post office. Well, we were going to a party a few days later,so I switched purses and after the party I switched my stuff to a different purse. I forgot all about the cards and months later I went to use the oversized purse and found them. So I wrote on the outside of each BELATED and sent them. No one was even surprised to have received a Christmas card from my in March. I am so much an old, old daft sod. I have boxes of Christmas cards that I have bought and never used. Denise actually took several of them and is using them. I would have thought because you seem so organized and together that you would have been the person who bought your cards and had them all ready to go and with personal messages in each one.
    Also, did you ever get a 20s outfit together and how was the party? I know this is late but I kept meaning to ask.

    Yeah, I got a card from Chen too...Thanks Chen! ..with no return address!!I wish we all felt free to exchange addresses..it would be fun to exchange cards with the folks who have really touched our hearts on this site...

    I know I had all of your names/addresses~ I perhaps should have included my real address on the cards I sent to all of you, but I didn't want any of you to think I was trying to amass 58 cards!


    I am happy if the cards made any of you smile...that's all I wanted to do!

    Okay... you tell you how observant I am, I actually told my husband... "Make sure you don't through that envelope away...".... several days go by... okay... more like a week.. (running behind as usual)... Tonight I go to my counter and pick up that envelope ... I've got it ready and now I need that address..... and what do I see... Your return address lable doesn't even have an address...... yes, quite the clever one you are.... rofl...you got me!

    I wonder just how much I can make by selling your last name and address. When you had my lovely ornament sent they included that information. Oh and you might want to start looking for a little something that is on the way to you, so I sincerely hope that the name and address I have was correct. I meant to send a thank you note but like my Christmas cards it just doesn't get done but I did have fun shopping online for a special ornament for you. I know that I didn't need to, but I really, really wanted to and that is what makes it so special. Just like you.

And unless the Metropolitan Museum of Art is in the middle of your town, in the middle of a residential street whose first letter is the same as the first letter of your last name I think that it is going to get to you. You see some places put the sender's name and address. At least I hope so. Oh, now I am going to be so disappointed if it goes astray. Big tears are now falling down my face. Oh, what if I am not as clever as I thought. But then you worried me and I googled said address and did a sattelite look and it looks like some beautiful homes so I will dry my tears for now. It should arrive tomorrow or Friday so be on the look out. And I will not give out your address. I love and trust every sister here but that is personal information and not mine to give. So even if the bribes are really good your address is in safe hands.
    I am hoping you will be coming up to Northern California in the near future because I really want to meet you. If I ever get down to Solvang again, I will look you up. I know you are very close, but it has been 35 years since I have been there so don't hold your breath. I would love to meet so many on this board. We should try to arrange a location that would be fun to travel to and see how many would be able or willing to meet up. It would be hard to figure out but maybe it could be done. Vegas, Disneyland (either one), a mini cruise on either coast, New York, San Francisco, Atlantic City, or any great destination city. Just a little dream I have. To meet as many of you all together. That would be so much fun.

    That is EXACTLY like something I would have done. Only I would not have found the cards for about a year or so. At least you found them in March! I am either super organized and efficient or a complete mess. I seem to have no in-between mode. This causes some problems, let me tell you.

    I DID get the 1920's outfit together and it looked awesome. I know no one believes me anymore when I claim that I will put pictures up, but I will once I figure out how to convert iphone pics from G*I*F to J*P*E*G format. Anyone know? Marcia?

    Ohh, Chen, we had the same idea
    I had my ornament sent from our Smithsonian museum gift shop here in DC. Hope my secret sis got it!

    I asked my son and he asked
    I asked my son and he asked a friend who had an iphone and was told the iphone saves the pictures as a j*p*e*g format. We don't use iphones so had to ask someone who does.
