    Update ...
Thank you Miss Bella Luna for the posting .. Today at 11:15 a.m. I finished week #9, or my 3rd chemo cycle TCH + herceptin + herceptin = 9 weeks .. All I keep telling myself .. Vicki .. just 9 more weeks ..

My white blood cell count is up from 2,500 to 8,900 without med's or neulasta shot. Most obviously side effort besides fatigue (all the time) is my right twitching eye that sheds tears all day. Very difficult for me to type, read or watch TV .. Last night I woke up with pain in my left ankle, only to realize this a.m. that my left ankle is 4 times the size of my right .. According to Dr. M, a side effort of Taxotere. Yikes .. can my body sustain any more side efforts from chemo ????

I wanted to thank each of you sister's in PINK for all the prayers, and good thoughts! They have helped me during my 7 day - house lock down. I've been given the green light to run the streets .. with caution. Tee Hee ...

Glad to hear you got the Green Light
VickiSam, I am very glad to hear you are improving. Thanks for the update. The wbc improvement is impressive and a relief, I know. I admire you so much--you've had every obstacle and then some, more than most, and yet your courage and good humor never fail. Undaunted. That is what you are. From what I have read, the answer to your question is YES. VickiSam can handle whatever it takes to get well.

    My best to you.

Ms. Vicki so happy to hear
Ms. Vicki so happy to hear your wbc are up again. I was under "house arrest" for 2 weeks after my first chemo. Oh yes, rest I did. Couldnt do much of anything else. My counts were up for my 2nd chemo a week ago Tuesday. I like what you call the after effects - well my effort to keep nausea at bay I think has finally come to fruition. This past week has been one very nauseas week. Vicki your body is much stronger than perhaps you realize. We sisters in pink are strong warriors and our bodies are stronger than we could have ever imagined. What can Dr. M. do for that swollen ankle? I dont imagine you will be running the streets too fast with that swollen ankle, but just in case you do please look both ways, traffic out there is unpredictable. :)
