I Finished Chemo Yesterday - Yipee!!!!!!

I am so happy to report that I finished my last round of chemo yesterday. Now on to the rads within the next 3-4 weeks. In the beginning, I never thought I'd get to this day. It went by quicker than I thought it would. I have been very lucky and haven't had a lot of side effects from the chemo. The good news to all the sisters just starting is there is an end, I am pleased to report. I know the several times I've read individuals posting that they were finished with chemo, I couldn't wait to be in their shoes. Today, I'm there!! Best of luck to all of you currently going through chemo, I'll pray that you have mild side effects too.

    Thanks, Sue. I'm holding off on popping the cork until I get through rads. Then, it's a cyper party for sure. You all are wonderful and have been the support and knowledge I needed to get me through so far.

    Congratulations, the worst is over.
    You were able to get through and cencer is gone.
    I think it was one of the happiest days in my life too.

    What a feeling Eh? No more Chemo! Woohooooooooo! Well done you! Rads are a doddle after chemo, so let's pop that cork now (Friday Night) and again after your rads!!! I'm doing it anyway! Hugs to you Jxxxxxxx

    Finishing chemo is HUGE! Congratulations! Lots of us have recently finished radiation

    treatments and can help you if you have any questions. Go out and celebrate!

    Congratulations, hope you celebrate and have a fun night. It did feel like chemo was never going to end, then when it was over you can't believe it!! I wish you well on the rest of your journey, take care

    I want to say Congrats to you too! What a great feeling to be done with chemo. You will do fine with rads. Just get plenty of rest before you start.

    Congrats to you
    It is a milestone finishing chemo--it was a small bump in the road and now the rads is another bump in the road and soon your road will be newly paved and it will be smooth sailing.
