Got New Breast from tummy

Have any of you had reconstruction surgery (tummy tuck, stomach fat used)?
Please I need to talk to you asap if you have had this done!

    I had both breasts done on July 29th. I have to go back to work in a few minutes but will be back about 4:30 central time.. just ask away and I'll do what I can to help you..

    I had DIEP/TRAM flap reconstruction

    Hi Jeanie, I had a free flap done in August. That is the complete removal of the tummy skin and fat, and attached to the breast. There are quite a few here who have had something similar done, and we would be glad to answer questions. What exactly did you need to know?

    The pain still!!!!! I get charlie horses in my gut all the time do u have this?

    Im so glad you said you have had just what I had done! I have been having the worst gut wrenching pain. It been going on for about 2 and half years now. The doctors have run test and said it was nothing. NOTHING? how can having charlie horses in your gut be nothing? Have you ever heard of this?

    I haven't had any kind of tummy problems. I know my tummy is now very very tight and sometimes I feel my intestines bubbling right at the surface of the skin. Have you had any x-rays or ultra sounds of your gut?? What kinds of tests have they done? Your right tha something is going on becsue you should not be having that kind of pain in your belly like that..

    yes had exam
    i had a ct scan that showed nothing? I think im going crazy! I get the so bad I can not move.

    Have you talked to and seen
    Have you talked to and seen your plastic surgeon recently and told them about this? Have you had a MRI done? Make sure that your surgeon understands the pain, and, you might want to make an appt. with your oncologist and tell them. There has to be a reason.

    Sorry I missed your reply today. I understand that they run different tests and could not find anything.
    Yes, Dian is correct your plastic surgeon is the first to talk to. You also should seek a second opinion - from another plastic surgeon. Primary care physician - blood metabolic panel, consultation with Gastroenterologist and gynecologist will be helpful as well.

    I had my Tram flap 14 months ago. Generally speaking I am doing ok. However every time when I had stomach pain, periods (before induced menopause) or any other pain in my internal organs I have experienced similar pain as you do. I am always trying take care of primary pain sites. Usually it helps.

    I would suggest checking your other organs for non-cancer related illnesses, just to be sure that your liver, kidney, bladder stomach are working well and causing your pain.
