Had my second round of chemo on Monday and all is going well. I expected worse, but I am doing great!! I guess I shouldn't count my chickens before they are hatched, but so far, so good. Got my wig on Sataurday, and I am so happy with it. That was a battle I won!! I have incredible energy from the steroids which ain't bad either...only downside is that I cannot sleep too well,,but energy level is high enough to get me thru the day.

So far, this is very mamagable. Hoping it stays that way. And I hope this gives you all some hope, too!!

Love,,,Suzie

    Half way done!
Two down two to go.....wonderful feeling, isn't it? Glad you are doing so well with it..When my last one rolled around, I couldn't wait to get there and get it over with....that was 7 weeks ago......seems longer some days and other days, it's like yesterday.
Hope you continue to do so well.
    Best wishes

Glad to hear you're doing so
Glad to hear you're doing so well. I have 1 more treatment to go and mine have also been very tolerable. I hope the future treatments continue to be as manageable. Take care.

And, if it doesn't, remember that all this is temporary, and you will soon be on the upward path.

Good for you sister! Half way done!! Not sleeping is normal. I too have a hard time sleeping, especially the night of my chemo treatment. Hugs to you, Diane

Glad you're tolerating your chemo better than I am. Maybe I have a lower comfort threashold. I also got a wig today from ACS, real cute. I'll be ready when that happens, too.

Suzie .. I'm also 2 down with 4 to go
However, my TCH treatment + 1 herc +1 herc equals 1 cycle .. to be clear .. I will have chemo for 18 week straight .. 6 cycles ..

Some days are more managable than others.

    Good luck to you ..

Happy to hear that you are
Happy to hear that you are doing well. I think the fear is worse than the actual treatment. You expect so much worse, then when you are through chemo, you think, " hey that was not so bad"...take care

I, too, was originally doing herceptin every week, was going to be for the entire 18 week process, but they cut me back down to just having it during my full treatment every three weeks. Maybe the same will happen for you. Hoping...Suzie
