More good news

My oncologist called yesterday with the CA-125 from Thurs' blood test. It is down to 71 after two chemo's.
Started in Aug. at 434, Sept. at 288 and now 71. He was really excited and now I am too. Maybe I can get another chemo vacation to celebrate my Golden Anniversary in January with a cruise!!! Saundra

    You ALWAYS give me inspiration and hope. I feel so lucky to have met you (even if it is because of this crappy disease). I couldn't be happier for you. You also give me hope about my mother, who is always getting bad news from her docs. I am hoping one day we get to have some wins too!!! All my best to you!

    Hi Saundra, I'm so happy to hear the good news. You deserve that cruise!! I'm still on vacation but will be home Oct 5th. I have a pet/ct scan on Oct 7th. Hopefully the 18 treatments of radiation I had worked.Will be back on the boards next week. I had to check in and see how everyone has been doing.

    Great news to share with us! And you go girl on that cruise! Golden Anniversary - that is another Praise the Lord! We will celebrate our 35th in March and hope to go on a cruise in February!!

    Chem, now
    In August, I had a both carboplatin and doxil. It put me on my butt for about 10 days. So we dropped the doxil for the September infusion and I did fine. I get it every 4 weeks. CA125 went from 434 to 288 to 71.
