Starting this up again: WEEKEND PLANS! I desperately want to know!
This will hopefully be a quiet weekend for us. It's rainy and chilly in the DC area, so I plan to curl up with my cats and hubby and read my New Yorker magazine (I'm behind about 3 issues and it comes every week). I might go to the gym on Saturday, but the rest of the time I will be a homebody, cooking and cleaning and preparing for fall.
I need my weekly fix, so I have to ask, what are YOU doing this weekend?!

Saturday: Hubby and I are going back down to the lake to our cabin. I think we may stay longer than the weekend. He is hinting at that, so, we will see. hmmmmmm Wonder what he is up to? Labor day weekend was a riot down there. We had so many people and so much fun. But, we need a rest from that this weekend. So, hoping that hubby told everyone to stay away again. Pleaseeeeeeeeeee!
Sunday to ?: Just goofing off at the cabin. Maybe boating, swimming, laying out some. Just relaxing and enjoying these beautiful warm fall days we are having! I love this time of year so much! And, I love being at the lake. It is so peaceful and so beautiful.
Thanks again Mimi for this post! We have all missed it very much! And once again sweetie, good luck on Monday! You are in my prayers!

This is my last weekend off before returning to W-O-R-K!!!!! I have already been briefed on what to expect when I return which is chaos!!! The timing is BAD!! It seems that Regional staff is coming for an audit!! So I am going to enjoy my last 2 days off by cooking myself a juicy steak and renting some fun chick flicks staying up late and maybe enjoy a glass of wine!!!0 -

Hi! I haven't seen this before or maybe I missed it. This is cool to do this.
Tomorrow we are having some friends out for a cookout. Just want to kick back, relax, have some drinks, eat good and have some fun. The weather is suppose to be gorgeous for it!
On Sunday we will just take it easy. Probably sleep in late, fix a big brunch and then take a nap. lol Who knows? We have no plans so we will just do whatever.

Calleen, it sounds like your department really needs you. I guess that's both a good thing and a bad thing. Your weekend sounds like the perfect way to spend the last few days off from work. Which chick flicks will you rent? I would vote for "The Devil Wears Prada,"Sex in the City: the Movie" and similar.

Hubby is taking me out for dinner on Saturday night. It is a really nice restaurant, so, I get to "dress up". I don't do that a lot anymore, so, I am looking forward to it. Hope I can still walk in high heels. UHOH lol Maybe I should go practice now!
Sunday, we will just work around here, nothing huge. Just enjoy the day, each other and possibly do some work, but doubtful. lol

And then, the world traveler...ROFL!
Well, this weekend we will be packing to come back to America....BUT....
This week, from Tuesday thru Friday (today), we went on a driving experience. We started with friends in The Hague, then off thru Belgium, Luxemborg, France, Switzerland, and back home thru Germany. I was driving 160km per hour (100mph) on the Autobahn, with people PASSSING me in little cars....LOL! I'm going to bed, it's midnight here and I'm beat. I'll post some pics tomorrow...it was BEAUTIFUL, especially in Switzerland...I even have a pic of the Alps!!!

One of my best friends is having a birthday party tomorrow at her house, so, we are looking forward to that. She has even hired a band to play. Lots of food, lots of people and lots of BOOZE! YeeHaw!

My computer is making me mad!!! I just had a nice response typed out and boom it knocked me off!!! ANYWAY... Not sure what to rent... Is the new movie with Matthew McConehey out yet?? "Ghost's of Girlfriends Past" ... I love watching anything with him in it!!! And as for work yes I see a long week ahead of me.. I'm working overtime this weekend. The National Guards come to the VA hospital where I work and have their physicals and I input lab information and appointments into the computer. There are goign to be 90 guards people on Saturday and 70 on Sunday.
Sunday afternoon I will take Jake to his first football practice. Should be exciting watching him get tackled and him tackling. I will take pictures but I still haven't figured out how to get them on my expressions page.
Having a Corona right now.
Saturday night going to a friends house who is having several parties in one night. Handbag party, pampered chef and I can't think what the other one is.

I'm really starting to struggle with chemo fatigue, and my next chemo is next week, so it's only going to get worse then...
So I was thrilled to get an email from a friend of mine yesterday offering to bring a home-cooked dinner to me this weekend. And, a few hours ago, she even emailed me a "menu" from which I got to choose my selection! She's coming over on Sunday, and we're just going to relax and have a nice dinner and catch up.

This weekend will be pretty quiet... just finished round 4 rads with 31 rounds to go... so if the rain stays at bay it may include some yard work... and maybe I can talk my hubby into some chick flicks... hum... have to use the sad puppy eyes... I'd like to see the one that Calleen is talking about.. "Goasts of Girlfriends Past" I've been wanting to see that one and missed it when it was out in theaters...
Well, I hope what ever weekend plans everyone has, that your weekend is wonderful with lots of opportunities to create lasting memories!

Hubby and I are going out to a movie this weekend and then out for a late dinner. Not for sure where we are going, but, we always have a good time no matter.
Sunday's are usually just work outside, him mowing and me in my flowers. And if we get tired, we just come inside and take a nap. lol
