I had surgery the end of may got plural effusion no malignancy went to the oncologist 3 months later and he said it was to late to do chemo, and my statistics were still 40 percent that I will live 5 yrs, has anyone else had this happen? I was very discouraged stage 2A no lymph node spread I felt the surgery would help oh also had some chemo and radiation before surgery  any answers will help thank you
