IAM GOING TO BE TREATED WITH CHEM THERAPY AND I WOULD LIKE TO UNDERSTAND
HOW DOCTORS DETERMINE THE DOSE BASED ON 'BSA'.MY WEIGHT IS 80 Kg AND
157 Cm TALL , IF DOSE IS 600 mg/m.sq.(d1 and 8)WHAT WILL BE THE DOZE FROM
THIS DRUG IN mg .OR,WHAT IS THE RELATION BETWEEN WEIGHT ,TALL AND BODY SURFACE AREA.

don't know but your oncologist does. make him/her explain it all to you. if you still don't trust them ask your primary care doc. to explain. i am sure as with other drugs your weight has something to do with the amount of the dose. best wishes to you!

Contact the department that will be administering the chemotherapy - I expect it will be a different office than your oncologist's.
They will be very familiar with those calculations and probably very good at explaining it.
