Hello all,

I know this isn't everyone's favorite topic, but I am a little nervous about it. My last 'womanly cycle' ended nine days ago and I am just starting a new one. I have never been early or had any issues before, could this be a chemo. side effect? It is Friday night and it is not urgent to call the dr. so I was wondering if anyone had the same experience. By the way, I am on Tamox. and Cycl. Thanks for the input.

Take care!

This stuff screws with EVERYTHING..... It's horrible, ask your onco or his nurse if you have worries... hopefully your onco will be easier to talk to than mine (Dr. Charisma-Bypass!)
Wishing you only the best Jxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Call your doc
Chemo does weird things to your body, so, I am sure that is what is causing this. But, you might want to give your oncologist a call. Let us know.

    Hugs!

You probably should just give your onco a call and tell him and see what he says. That will put your mind at ease I am sure. Update us!

Tamoxifen is a type of hormonal manipulation and is known for interfering with your menstual cycle. It most often makes it irregular. However in my case it has completely suppressed my period. My bloodwork shows I am premenopausal, but the tamoxifen is not allowing any menstruation to occur.

Check with your onc. to be sure. Perhaps he may want to check your hormones.

Check with your oncologist to see if that is what is doing it. He should know.
