Well they removed the port and he is feeling so much better, his pain level is down to a 2 which it has not been less than a 6 for months, He is feeling so good it brings peace to my heart, he has to stay in a couple more days I believe to clear up the bacterial infection, but they did a CT scan and it showed the cancer grew a little more in his lungs which I guess we should have expected since he has not been on treatment for over a month and 1/2 but of course I was not ready for that news, so I broke down in the hospital again, I wish I had some of ya out here in Texas for a support system during those times, And it is amazing to me I have been telling the doctors for a while the pain is coming from his port but they said no the tumor, but once the port came out his pain got under control, some days it is such a struggle, I get tired of crying, I feel cheated, after being married for 25 year I finally had the courage to move on and start a fresh life, hell i moved from Florida to Texas just to start over, and I meet the most amazing man , who just knows how to love a woman, and I get slammed down by Cancer, but I refuse to let it take my moments with him, I will enjoy every day with him and cherish his love, Cancer can not take the love,

Patty, Glad to hear your husband is doing better. I so can relate to your feeling of being cheated. We worked so hard to get our 3 kids through college...9 yrs of tuition payment. Made the last payment in January and he was diagnosed in March. We had such plans. Life definitely throws us some curves. Will keep you both in my prayers.
