What could this be?

Hey Everyone, I am stage 4 with mets in liver, and colon resection in May. I do also have it in my stomach and lymphnodes in stomach. I was not feeling any pain in liver and stomach after surgery, but when I have Chemo it starts hurting. They can't do liver resection or anything else until it shrinks. What do you think it is? My cea levels went down some from 21.8 to 13.7 in two weeks. I just don't know if it's the chemo working or not working. My scan is Tues. any advice would be great! God Bless, Patti

    The CEA level going down is a good sign, and I hope your scan will confirm that the tumors are shrinking. Make sure your doctors know about the pain you're experiencing -- I'm sorry that I have no ideas about it. As you know, side effects of chemotherapy are common.

    sorry to hear you are stage 4. i was stage 3 i noticed when i was on xeloda before surgery it was giving me an ulcer so i got previcid for that,then during my mop up chemo the pain was in my lower abdomen after i ate but during my off week i did not hurt.now that i am NED and off chemo i dont hurt in my stomach area at all.i swear i think it was all that chemo that was tearing my stomach up.good luck to you and Godbless....johnnybegood
