The rash has even spread into my knees and shins. I`m afraid I may be turning into one big erbigerm. I would take antibiotics but I might dissolve into a pile of toxic sludge.

    Eric,
    I am so sorry you are going through this with the rash...It must be so hard to deal with because its just not going away...... You have such a great sense of humor dealing with everything....Keep it up and thanks for all the laughs you provide..I laugh almost everytime I read one of your posts....Hope the rash will leave you soon....................JULIE

    Oh, Eric.

    I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time with this. As I said before, I don't have experience with this, so I'm making pure guesses. Does an antihistamine help? Can you even take one with all the other meds?

    Oh Eric. Now I have visions of Robocop dumping the bad guys in the toxic dump! I'm sorry. It's not funny, but you have a way of making it so. I know it's not funny to look at yourself and visualize toxic sludge, but MAN! are you the one with the great attitude!

    Have you tried swimming, not in a lake but in a chlorinated pool. It seems to calm the savage beast...

    This is getting serious. What do your MD's say? As much as I joke about it to you, I am concerned. There has to be an answer.

    Eric,

    So sorry! Are you seriously not taking any antibiotics? You really should be- it might take a while since you're starting them after the fact, but they can't hurt- please try them! I took minocycline.

    Mine was bad for 5-6 cycles.
    Dr put me on an antibiotic, Minoclynicin? But it made me very sensetive to sun. I was out with out a hat on for like 15 mins and i got so red and rashy, I had scabs on my eyeslids and underneath my eyes. I then went to a dermatologist and she gave me some ointments...they worked great. My skin has been much improved. I was outside yesterday in overcast late afternoon sun, but I still got some red under my eyes...i should have worn sunglassess

    good luck, and please pursue all options for relief!!!
