Does anybody ever go into the chat room here? I have gone a couple of times, and maybe, there is one person in there that instantly is saying HI! lol Poor soul is just so happy to see someone else I think. lol Otherwise, it is empty. I wonder why.

    Hi.......I cause havoc in their regularly. Sometimes I go in at the wrong time and there is no-one else in there, Or like you say, one Sad-sack...LOL

    I'm pretty much illiterate...
    when it comes to computers, so I haven't even tried chat.

    I can assure everyone....no one is in chat at 3:25am!! Probably because no one is UP at this time of the morning!! However, Me, Myself and I had a lovely PRIVATE conversation. It's a good thing no one did come in.....they would have RUN!!! :) Pammy

    A regular chatter
    I have been a regular chatter here for 3-4 years...I forget exactly.
    It is exasperating to go in and find no one. But at other times I find several people there. Who knows why? Different time zones and life styles I suppose.
    So, I load the chat room, turn the sound on, and then go about my business doing other things, browsing, etc. When someone enters the room I hear the 'alert' and click the chat tab and say hello.
    When I get to 'know' someone pretty well, I invite them to meet me in the chat room at a specific time and they invite someone else to join us...etc.
    Also, the 'extra' rooms are available for chat groups for specific types of cancer. Check with our webmaster about setting up a day and time for 'specific' chat if you are so inclined.
    If you really enjoy real-time chatting, as I do, it's worth a little effort to make it work for you.

    Go to home page...
    under 'connect and communicate' see 'discussion boards' then under that, 'chatrooms'. Click on that and be patient while it loads.

    cant get in all the time. What we would need to do is set a time (Eastern, Central and Pacific) that is good for everyone, then we can all try at the same time. Otherwise, I am either in there by myself, or can't get in at all. We should try to set up a meet.

    It's Sunday... most are home
    It's Sunday... most are home relaxing on Sunday evenings.. we can try hum.... I am central time... Pacific time is two hours behind... I think Eastern time is one hour ahead... say 5 o'clock pacific... 7 o'clock central and 9 o'clock eastern... anyone want to try???? or someone could suggest another time...

    Hey T & Cat....
    I think there is a 3 hour time difference between Pacific and Eastern. So 5:00 there would be 8:00 here.

    If we make it 6:00 Pacific, 9:00 eastern, and 8:00 Central, I will be home from the hospital by then and can chat away!

    Shall we start a thread about times??

    yes, CR if you will be home at 6p (8c) (9e) that is what we should aim for!
