    thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it went surprisingly well, a little boring just sitting but hey 1 down 11 to go is how i look at it, I'm touched by all your thoughts and prayers!!! when this is all done drinks are on me!!!!!! what the hell dinner to!!!!! hope you guys are feel OK, although i'm not down with this fanny pack, but i better just get used to it, maybe while i have the fanny pack ill wear flip flops and black sox and shorts, like all the tourists down here!!! thanks again guys for your thoughts!!

    I am so glad your first one went well. i went for #2 today and all I have noticed so far, was when i tried to drink something cold at the restaurant afterwards was a weird sensation at the back of my throat. I stopped and switched to coffee. I also had a little tingling in my toes for a little while. It is gone now.
    I did pray for you last night after reading your post, SO, where is dinner gonna be? ha ha

    Hey don't forget the big straw hat to go with your outfit!! I also hate the fanny pack! But you have to make the best of it... Good luck with the rest of your treatments. I go wed. for number 3.

    ...it is quite boring sitting there for a few hours, but bring some magazines, books, cards, crossword puzzles or something to make the time pass by, I actually so far have been put in my own room with a tv, so I just lay there watching TV while the infusion is going..I just having to go to the bathroom dragging that darn IV pole with me, I feel like I'm going to knock it down while going lol...

    And no, that fanny pack is so not cool looking, but you had me cracking up with the sandals and socks.. ewww, that's the worse look, maybe a belly shirt to match? lol...glad it went well though, at least it wasn't as bad you imagined though, was it..just watch the side effects, and hope you got some great anti-nausea meds!
