Hello All
It has been awhile since I have posted. I still come here and read almost every day and keep you all in my prayers and laugh and cry with all you. Two years ago my husband was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer. We were so frightened. This site was honestly a godsend and I will always be so thankful that we found our way here. When I first found this site, I searched for every positive story I could find and prayed that someday I could encourage someone else....

My husband had a CT scan, chest xray, bloodwork, and doctors visit yesterday. He got a GREAT report! No this hasn't been an easy road for him. He went through radiation, surgery, temporary illeostomy, more chemo, reversal, then the frustration of trying to get his body back to normal---or maybe a new normal. I can't believe 2 years has passed. I just want to encourage all of you that are beginning this journey. Hang on, it might be a bumpy ride, but you will get there! Have Faith!

    This time of year is so hectic, I appreciate you taking the time to come by and offer encouragement to the rest of us! 2 years is a great milestone for your husband! You are so right, it isn't always a smooth ride, but God doesn't promise a smooth ride, only that He will be there to give us strength when we find it too rough.
