Hey Everyone, I haven't been on between my son being home on Spring break, then he was home from school sick, I've continued to try to get better for surgery on the 18th. I've had a stubborn cough, but finially got to the doctors for med's. They're working good but I have to stop taking them for my pre-op blood work. Then also the end of the week I have to stop them for a week before my surgery. Sure hope my cough doesn't come back like it was, because it was bad. Having surgery and coughing doesn't mix. With my son around so much I can't be on this site that says Cancer on it. He knows I'm having surgery and he's totally fine about it, but I don't want to scare him with the possibility of cancer. I have found some other support sites to be on that doesn't have the word cancer on them. I'm doing good tonight, so I wanted to be sure to stop in and say Hello to you all now that my sons in bed and I'm up to it. Nights are really bad with my coughing. With surgery fast approaching I'm working HARD to get everything done that I can.

Hope this finds you all doing well. I think and pray for everyone all the time. I love and appreciate you all. :)

Coughing after surgery is one of the things you have to do. Not that it would be fun to have a cough. That bug is going around here too. My husband had it, but so far I have avoided getting it.
I will have chemo again on the 11th but will be in full prayer for you on the 18th. Hope you get some meals in the freezer ahead of time so your son or husband will only have to heat them and get them on the table. I was lucky in that ladies from my church brought so much food, we had to say "stop" for awhile. Take your vitamins before and after the surgery so that you can be as healthy as possible. Glad you are back... Saundra

Hi lady34...I have a son that's always around too! He' s older than college age, but he still lives here with me. He takes care of anything and everything that I can't. I will be thinking of you and wishing you well on the 18th. I had "the cough" myself a few weeks back. Hope you get all straightened out and healthy for your surgery.
