As the year is drawing to a close..can we have a post to remember those that have lost the battle but are forever in our hearts> I'll start...my husband Peter...Nov 25/07 fought the good fight for 3 1/2 years...also add to the list Andrea Elder who passed so very young (2006)

    What a nice tribute. I lost my Dad to lung/bone cancer almost 13 years ago. to Nitzie my daughters grandmother. I know you are holding my hand as I walk this battle. I Love and miss you both so much

    To Violet Miller (Mother-In-Law) who lost her battle in 1994 and my friend Nancy Flanagan who lost her battle to colon cancer in Feb 07.

    In memory of my two friends that I lost this year to Colon Cancer. Kathy Riess (March 07) and Maureen Weaver (August 07). I miss you both very much.

    Ken Bell passed away Friday from Colon Cancer. May his family find comfort in knowing that he is with the Lord. My daughter's friend Gerri who passed away from lung cancer last Sunday.

    For my mom, Sheila, who passed away 8/27/07 after a 16 month battle with colon cancer. We will forever miss you mom, but we will hold you in our hearts until we meet again. Dance with the angels, mom. I love you.

    I answered before ,but was only thinking of this board...I want to remember my "big" brother and best friend who lost his battle with lung cancer in June, 1990. I still miss him so much. I know he is with us today fighting the battle with my husband.

    11-04-07. My beautiful sister and best friend, Linda....so strong, so brave and selfless. Never once did you complain or tell anyone what you were really going through in your 3 year battle with colon cancer. You worked very hard.

    And you certainly did.

    A friend, Diane also, whose husband just recently passed due to lung cancer. For all who I had the honor to meet here on this board that are no longer with us but will always be remembered.
