Dr. saw my Mom last Monday, her 10th and final chemo for 1st recurrence was October 6th (a month ago)so she has felt very good with vitality and energy, good moode, very good appetite and the other day she said she would like to have a beer with her meal!! That was a big WOW for me considering she never drinks and is 76 years old. She said she felt so good as though she has never been sick before. I`m so glad, although never peaceful.. she says she wants to live and not think about any illness at all so we are enjoying the moment she enjoys her grandson every day and frankly I can't imagine how I would have done it through these almost 8 months without her help. Her marker is at 6.0 (out of 21), her PET Scan was clean, and has no symptoms so Dr. considers her in remission for now. He wanted to give her a little more chemo to consolidate but was not possible beacuse numbers are so low and is takes longer every time to come back so she will be in observation. As we see Dr. until January 8th 2008, I told her we will have a lovely and peaceful Christmas and New Years enjoying ourselves and my baby's 1st holidays, and so grateful with God and wouldn't want it any other way. Prayers and hugs for all. Liz
