Cancer Treatment Center of America???

I don't have any personal experience, but a friend of my family has battled cancer on and off for a very long time now. He liked the place and recommended that my dad try there. They have a lot of alternative treatments and resources there. I'm not sure how far into this you are, but the sooner you start making appts for 2nd and 3rd opinions the better. My dad's first opinion sounded great until we saw a few other doctors and determined that radiation would actually be a very bad idea. I would try getting into sloan kettering or MD Anderson, but I wouldn't delay treatment. I would just look online for cancer centers and call them up immediately and start making appts....you can always call to cancel or reschedule later, but if you wait a week to start, then it'll take that much longer to get the appt. Depending on the type of cancer you have, it can change a lot in just a month...so the sooner you start treatment the better.
