Does anyone have any input on this procedure? I was told that it could be done during a local colorectal surgery to see if the tumor had infiltrated the lymph nodes or other palces.
Thanks,

Our surgeon told us they haven't quit figured it out for colon cancer so it is not standard treatment yet. I believe it is standard procedure for breast cancer. The focus has probably been more on breast cancer because of problems with the arm swelling when removing lymph nodes in breast surgery.
