Yes, Ileana, I believe you can always win the battle! What's a piddly little lymph node anyway? Let them take it and go from there. You're up to the test, I know you can do this. One battle at a time, eh?

Years ago cancer almost always meant terminal. Today life is extended and sometimes cancer is eliminated for ever. Odds today are much better than in the past. I look at life this way. No cancer, Thank you god for this day, it was given by you and it is mine to do with it as I please. Cancer, Thank you God for this day. It was given by you and it is mine to do with it as I please. Every day is a gift whether the news is good or the news is bad, it is still our day to live and enjoy if we decide to do so. For me, right now, today is harder to enjoy than yesterday but I damn well am going to enjoy it because that is the part of this disease I get to control – my attitude and my gratitude.
Never stop believing that your cure is just around the corner. Let your news make you stronger

I had 10 lymph nodes affected and they removed 36 and half of my liver. It's been a year and nothing showing up. Doesn't mean it won't tomorrow when I have my CT but I'm just going to try not to stress about it. It will either show up or it won't and stress is not going to change a thing. So get the beast out of there, do the best you can and then leave it up to God. "Thy will be done" let's God worry about it. Hang in there! jams

I am new to the chat room and was wondering what type of cancer you were disagnosed with in the beginning and how long you have been a survivor?

    Ileana,
Let's wait for the biopsy results...and, even then...yes, I had an 'interested' node with my rectal cancer...made ME the proud owner of stage III cancer, instead of II!
YOU CAN WIN the battle, and the WAR!!!
I have learned to live life to the fullest, and be grateful for every day. I walk with the beast 1 foot behind me...I will forever...BUT NO CLOSER!
Hugs of strength to you, my dearheart!

    HUgs, Kathi
