Ok, all you procrastinating semi colons, THIS IS YOUR FREAKING WAKE UP CALL!!
As you all know, our closely-knit group is heading for another field trip. This time, we're going INTERNATIONAL (unless you're from Canada, then we're going to YOUR house!)! October is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! Go ahead and look if you don't believe me! Our FOURTH SEMI ANNUAL COLON PALOOZA is in stone for HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA!!!!!
EXCITING DETAILS......
Your mission, should you choose to accept, will begin Thursday, October 12, 2006 at the lovely DELTA HALIFAX HOTEL, located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Only a few will brave the festivities one day early and arrive on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 11th. (DO YOU FEEL THE CHALLENGE? ARE YOU UP TO THE CHALLENGE?)
From there, we will all gather in the suite of Lisa Rose, our hostess for this event. She has taken the time from her busy schedule of curling, snow mobile maintence, and tending to her beautiful mom, to arrange an array of festivities from Irish Pubs to Casinos....from Boat trips to Casinos....from quaint shops to (you guessed it!) CASINOS!
DO NOT MISTAKE THIS EVENT FOR A "POOR ME PITY PARTY"!! These are meant to generate only tears of joy when we all meet and slather ourselves in the warmth of our friendships! You will get to meet the legends that Paloozas are made of....SEMI COLONS! (yeah, drink another beer Stacy, the adjectives are getting better with each strike of the keyboard!)
And, ADDED BONUS.....flights to Halifax from the majority of US cities have dropped to nearly half price from what they were just two weeks ago. DO NOT DELAY....BOOK YOURS TODAY! (Oh, no.....I feel a little "Cat in the Hat" coming on!)...

Room rate $135.00 Canadian per night approx $116.00 USD So make the call and book under gcolon ( group colon ). If you want to upgrade your room it's an extra $40.00 for a harbour view, $60.00 for a junior suite. Also a one bedroom suite goes for 270.00 per night.
You MUST book your room by SEPTEMBER 11, 2006. After that, no guarantee on the room rate. Typically, the room would run well over $ 900 American for 4 nights. Lisa Rose arranged for that same room to be $ 480 for 4 nights....HALF PRICE BABY!!!!!! What's stopping you??????

You've said it all and then some. But I guarantee you we'll be living it up and then some in Halifax ~ just think afternoons in the pub and no kids for 4 days " YES " . . .
Were also looking at doing a whale watching tour as well as Alexander Keiths Brewery Tour and yes we do get to sample the product.

Dang this sounds like a party! I'll be with you all in spirit.... but my bod's gonna be on the beach at Marco Island, Florida that weekend at my nephew's wedding. Family stuff, you know. Must go soak in the sun for their sake! LOL!!! But I'll quaff a brew to you all!0

It is going to be so much fun!!!!!!!!! My airfare on Canada Air was half the price of what it was 6 weeks ago!!!!! Such a deal, 5 days in Halifax, Canada at a really nice hotel along with airfare, less then $800!!!!!!!! It is so worth it too.
See you all there......I promise you won't regret it!!!!!!!!
