I have had a lesion on my nose for about 4 years now. I was in total denial that it was serious because I did not have health insurance and I choose to ignore things anyway. I recently got health insurance and had a biopsy and it is indeed a Basal Cell Carcinoma. I am scheduled for MOHS surgery in the beginning of Ocotber and hae done some research and have seen some horrible pictures. I am scared to death and would love to hear from people who have had the same procedure. Part of me is ready to just back out because of fear. My dermatologist said we did not catch it early so I am preparing for the worse but praying for the best. I also find that I panic now with every ache and pain I have like I might have cancer other places and I am normally not like this. Is this a normal reaction? Thank you for reading this and I hope to hear from you all soon.
