I have been awol for awhile trying to enjoy the relative peace that my husband being on treatment allows...he is doing really well on the second line treatment of xeloda and oxaliplatin..not too may unmangeable side effects...he seems to be REALLY WELL..enjoying golfing etc...will have a CT the second week of August and I am now waking up at night in a cold sweat thinking about it...always bad news each time we go for test results...maybe one day we will have positive news
Have started seeing a naturopath and maybe that will bring us luck.
It is so wonderful to hear of others NED celebrations...and at least pray for STABLE if not NED...
Hope you all have an awesome summer and don't forget to book colonpalooza for Niagara Falls in 2007 (details will follow)
with love
Bev

The second week of August will bring you only great news! Which side of Niagara Falls? Either way I'll be there!

Hi Bev, Good to hear from you and to hear that hubby is tolerating treatment so well; I hope you find something that gives you some respite from all the worry! I just had my 2 year anniversary of completing chemo and still NED; hang in there; you are both in my prayers, Judy

    Hi Bev,

I am happy to hear that your husband is doing well with xeloda and oxaliplatin. Try and visualize getting a positive report and BELIEVE that you will.

    Hugs,

    hi all:
I'm in Niagara- Canada..we could maybe do a half and half palooza (US for 2 days and Canada for 2..but we have to leave time for the winery tours and tastings..the casino's...marineland...clifton hill etc...any ideas what month we should hold the festivities??)

I believe that April is/was the going month and then October is the next month. At least that is what these last Palazoo's were. April was Texas and October is Halifax.
