surgery Tues

Hi everyone... sorry I was gone for so long. Had serious computer/internet meltdown - but I am back.

My surgery is this Tues. I am actually ready to have at least 2/3 of my right lung removed! I went hiking all weekend and feel so good. (I LOVE chemo breaks). I am eager to see how I feel post-op.

The surgeon said I should be discharged Sat or Sun. I hope it will be sooner than that!! I hate hospitals.

I will read all the posts tomorrow and try to catch up.

    I was thinking about you this morning, I remembered your condition and was wondering when surgery was going to be, but I couldnt remember your name. Anyway the point is the good vibes and thoughts were there all along, and from everybody, I'm sure.

    Jana....you KNOW that Jen and I will be with you gal. Go beat tha crap outa that 'ol tumour sweetie and then take it easy on recovery. We so much want to meet you in 18 DAYS!

    Best of luck Jana! I'm sure it will go great since you are in such good shape prior to surgery. You go girl!

    Maureen-which hospital do you work at? Aren't you from Waltham? I work at a hospital too and I dislike them highly, but I guess they help us to survive :)

    I just finished my pre-op after dinner snack and I came to check my post. I am filled to the rim with warm fuzzies! You guys are great.
