Hello All,

I thought I would pass on some wonderful news - my mom (originally diagnosed Jan 2003, Stage III) received a clean bill of health at her 6 month checkup today.. All her Scans came back NED !

As most of you know, waiting for the routine follow up results is a tortuous experience, at best. It is such a relief. (we had ourselves all worked up to receive bad news..)

I think of everyone often, even though I do not post every day.. Keep up the fight !

    Vanessa, I'm new, but what great news! A friend of mine's dad just got diag with this, everyone is real confused. I turned her on to this site, just for info like yours! GREAT NEWS!

    Congrats to your mom and you both! Now comes that agonizing period where you get worried about the slightest little thing - a tummy ache, being tired, a hang nail... hang tough and tell your mom to listen to her body.

    Hi Vanessa....great to hear your mum is doin ok. After 2 years of NED I can assure you that every time I go for testing I am a little on edge. I think Jen sees it too but she always reassures me. Give yah mum a hugg from us in oz.
    Hey Sponger....bout time you had some quality time.....geez mate...you are a workaholic....lol!
