I may be able to get the time off from work after all one of the other managers dropped her April dates. These are some of my questions. My sister lives in San Antonio and she said she could drop me off and pick me up where ever we are meeting at. Should I do that or should I stay at the hotel? If we are going site seeing or whatever do I need a car? How are we all getting around? Anybody have suggestions? Thanks Sue

    Hi Sue,

    I would recommend that you stay in the hotel at least for Thursday evening! Because we are having the opening night reception and it is so much fun for everyone not to worry about how late it is getting. We have been known to sit up for HOURS in the evening to just talk.... (isn't that right Stacy and Lisa P. and Baby Lisa??)

    San Antonio is about 90 miles from Austin so the round trip would be 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours drive.

    If you stay at the hotel you should not need to rent a car. For the reception I am planning transportation to get everyone there and back to the hotel.....other sites are pretty much within walking distance from hotel and if we go site seeing or day trips we'll most likely be together and I'll have transportation or there will be another rental car available.

    I am so glad you will be able to attend. You will NOT regret it. It is such a special "get together" and brings us all that much closer.

    Correction on the "round trip" to and from San Antonio to Austin....it is 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 hours EACH way, so that would be 3 - 4 hours round trip!!
